Met Media

Met Media is the student run film production class of San Diego Met High School. Met Media aims to create a space that encourages students to use media outlets to promote student voice, advocate for injustices, and accomplish academic and creative projects.

Founded by Myla and Sydnie Pitzer, other students have joined to create a variety of short film content. These films include promotional videos of our school's internship program, mental health promotion videos, and create feature length documentaries that highlight student work.

Directing Change Project

The Met Media was fortunate to receive a mini grant from Directing Change: a non-profit organization that holds an annual film competition to promote mental health and prevent suicides among teens. Our videos can be seen on our YouTube page.
